Would you like to become a member of the Glasgow Branch of the RSCDS?
As a member of the Branch you become a member of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society.
Hence you will be welcome at any other RSCDS Branch in Scotland, the UK or the rest of the world.
Part of your subscription goes to RSCDS Headquarters, a separate charity, see below.
The subscription year is from 1 July to 30 June and costs £23 per year for an Adult and £39 for two Adults living at the same address, with reductions for under 25 years.
First time New members only, joining on or after 1 January 2021 pay one half of the full subscription (valid 1 Jan 2022 to 30 June 2022). Just mark your form HALF YEAR (downloads below).
Being a member entitles you to reduced fees for our Branch classes. Hence during the first 12 weeks in autumn you can save £24. In the New Year you can save more and then more in the Spring/summer classes !

Associate Membership of the Glasgow Branch is £5 and is for those who pay their RSCDS headquarters subscription through another Branch. You then receive the Glasgow Branch Newsletters and can be more involved in the Branch.

Benefits of joining the Society Headquarters: who operate the teacher training, providing the accreditation, maintaining the standards of the steps and formations for us all. Thus we belong to a wider communty which enables us to dance anywhere in the world. Members have priority booking for RSCDS residential Summer Schools and other events. A free twice yearly Scottish Country Dance Magazine is sent to all members. Discounts are available for sheet music, publications and merchandise. Music courses are provided to enable musicians to develop skills specific to Scottish Country Dance playing. Hence the Society assures us of a future by promoting Scottish Country Dancing worldwide.
