Limerick Day

National Limerick Day is set on 12th May 2020 to mark the birthday of Edward Lear, the English writer known for his works of nonsensical prose and poetry.  

Today is the twelfth of May
What better than to dance a strathspey
But if a jig or a reel
Describes how you feel
Then just dance to acknowledge the Day.
